This project started with a strong vision and a deep forest in Southern Oregon. The heavily timbered land was sited to take advantage of available natural light while minimally impacting the mature trees.

This mountain residence, built for clients who are writers, was designed by architect Carlos Delgado and reflects the clients desire for a strong Northwest style home. High elevation building experience and close attention to heavy snow loads was paramount. This project includes 2×8 frame construction, blown in cellulose insulation, and a stunning stone Rumford style fireplace. Energy Trust of Oregon and Earth Advantage certified.
