The custom floor plan of this replacement dwelling was driven to reflect the client’s love of cooking and growing their own food. Architect Carlos Delgado worked closely with them to create an ultra energy efficient home that ties in directly with the surrounding garden landscape. A blend of recycled Faswall wall systems and 2×10 wall construction with blown in cellulose insulation creates an incredibly insulated building envelope. Add a six inch concrete hydronic radiant floor system, an HRV air exchange, and American Clay walls and the home gains unprecedented comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality. Energy Trust of Oregon and Earth Advantage certified.
