This new residence was a replacement dwelling on a stunning piece of property in the Colestin Valley of Southern Oregon. The clients, one who is a retired hydro engineer, wanted to tie two wells and an extensive rain collection system into irrigation and fire protection. An efficient ground loop geothermal system, concrete slab hydronic radiant system, solar hot water, 2×8 wall construction, and blown in cellulose insulation make this home a cornerstone of energy efficiency. Energy Trust of Oregon and Earth Advantage certified.
